Excitement is building as Improve Canada gets ready to open its doors this summer. The first of its kind in Canada, this year-round home show and mega store in Vaughan brings home improvement businesses and consumers together in a 320,000 sq. ft. facility that offers a one-stop shopping experience.

People will have access to approximately 400 home improvement businesses, including designers, renovators and boutique retailers with select high-end products, all from one convenient location.
“Construction is almost complete, but there is still an opportunity for businesses to be part of the Improve Canada team,” says Improve Canada’s founder, Oleg Chekhter.
“Every day, we have more and more companies joining the centre, and we’ve received a lot of inquiries from customers who can’t wait to come and shop here,” he adds.
New to the Improve team is American Standard who will be occupying approximately 400 sq. ft. adjacent to Canaroma Bath & Tile.
Visitors will be able to see the latest in American Standard products, including high-end bathroom faucets, toilets, sinks, freestanding soaking tubs and kitchen faucet products. The focus will be on featuring technology, such as recent toilet introductions, including the cleanest flush ever engineered and a touchless, concealed toilet.
“American Standard is joining Canaroma, one of our showroom partners, at Improve Canada,” says Simone Abele, vp of marketing for American Standard Brands in Mississauga.
“Displaying at Improve Canada will give us awareness for both our brand and products with our target audience. Our unit is adjacent to Canaroma’s space and will be staffed by one of their consultants. Customers will have the opportunity to visit the corporate Canaroma showroom, which is located less than 10 minutes from Improve, or any of our retail showroom partners in the GTA,” he says.
Professional services at Improve Canada will include the expertise of Georgian Custom Renovations Inc., a division of Georgian Group, who specializes in luxury custom home transformations, from concept to completion.
With over 50 years of experience working in residential design-build, Georgian Custom Renovations has an award-winning design team that creates unique and stylish custom spaces for clients’ homes.
Visitors to Improve will have the opportunity to see vignettes of a kitchen, home office, dressing room and more, to see first-hand the exquisite workmanship of the Georgian Custom Renovations team.
From quartz-topped theatre islands in kitchens and steam showers in spa-inspired bathrooms to new flooring systems, upgraded staircases and refaced fireplaces, no job is too big or too small, and will always be completed on time and within budget.
“At Improve Canada, we will be able to showcase our renovation services to inspire people to want more,” says Gene Maida, president and founder of Georgian Custom Renovations Inc.

“We’ve revolutionized the home renovation market by delivering trust, competence and integrity. After 50 years in business, we have strong financial stability and offer a five year guarantee on renovations. Georgian Group has constructed over 10,000 homes and we’re bringing this confidence to the home renovation market,” says Maida.
Georgian Custom Renovations clients include empty nesters, who are ready to update their homes and enjoy beautiful surroundings. “A lot of our clients have sacrificed for their children, doing without, but their families are now raised and they’re mortgage free,” says Maida.
“For 25 to 30 years, they’ve done nothing to their homes, and we’re there to help them with their renovations. At this time of their lives, they want to surround themselves with beauty and they deserve the best.”
By locating at Improve Canada, American Standard and Georgian Custom Renovations Inc. will enjoy greater exposure, with an anticipated 2,000 shoppers going through the centre each day.
Potential customers have a one-stop shopping experience, and home improvement businesses can capitalize on this targeted audience, by being a part of the Improve team.
