STON-KER® Ceramic Stone: Known as the Porcelanosa ceramic stone, STON-KER® is a remarkably resistant material with a surface that is unaffected by even the most extreme conditions.

With STON-KER®, PORCELANOSA Group has evolved the ceramic production system to obtain a product that has a coloured design and is remarkably resistant, even exceeding the properties of porcelain tiles. It created this new material in response to the most demanding architectural requirements.

PAR-KER® Ceramic Parquet

Ceramic parquet is currently a highly valued option when choosing a flooring material. PORCELANOSA Group includes a wide range of models in different finishes and formats in its catalogue.

The natural properties of this essentially ceramic material give ceramic parquet by Porcelanosa several advantages over traditional wood parquet, while still retaining the warm and inviting appearance of wood.

Ceramic parquet is highly resistant to wear caused by continuous use, and is even suitable for areas with a high level of pedestrian traffic, such as restaurants and shopping centres.

Its surface finish is unaffected by the sun, with no need to apply any type of treatment or follow a special maintenance procedure.

Its low porosity makes it the ideal material for wet zones such as bathrooms and kitchens.

Furthermore, Porcelanosa manufactures versions with an anti-slip surface that are ideal for outdoor use, for example in terraces or poolside areas.

Anti-slip flooring

Porcelanosa has developed Nanoker technology to manufacture anti-slip versions of all its ceramic flooring collections. This system makes it possible to create a nano-structured surface with a uniform texture on the surface of the tiles, very different from the rough texture found in conventional finishes.

The design of a nano-structured anti-slip surface was possible due to collaboration between PORCELANOSA Group and the Instituto de Tecnología Cerámica (Institute of Ceramic Technology), a world leader in the field of research into and innovation in ceramic. The result is an anti-slip surface with a smooth and agreeable texture that is long-lasting and requires little maintenance.

In contrast with other processes used to achieve anti-slip surfaces, Nanoker technology retains the original colour tones of the tile and does not whiten its appearance like many other anti-slip finishes available in the market. This means that it can be perfectly combined with the base tile to create spaces with homogeneous finishes.

Nanoker technology also provides longer-lasting anti-slip properties because it does not rely on an emphasised relief on the tile surface, meaning that the original standards of safety can be retained for longer. Furthermore, it requires little maintenance: the system achieves results that are resistant to chemical agents and impacts, and it is also easy to clean thanks to the microscopic roughness of the surface.

Cement Tiles

Cement with its innate qualities of solidness and resistance has always been a key material of any construction.

The Porcelanosa Cement Series reproduces the appearance of a cement surface in a large format tile making installation simpler and easier. This tile series boasts a wide spectrum of different shades to its finishes.

Microcemento, Rectified Tiles:

Ston-Ker tiles are dry coloured and then decorated with a coloured body that closely resembles the surface, thus homogenising its structure. This gives each floor tile the decorative sophistication of porcelain with levels of resistance only before obtained with unglazed tiles. Over 40 different floor tile designs are available in various colourways.
Matt tile: Unlikely glossy tiles, these tiles do not reflect the light. The tiles look more like natural stone and have higher anti-slip properties.
Porcelain: Dense tiles, fired at very high temperatures. Porcelain tiles are more resistant to heavy traffic and have very low absorption rates.
Rectified: The Cubica tiles come with straight edges. The tiles can be installed with minimal grout lines, which enhances the lighting and makes the rooms more aesthetical.
V2: Slight Variation in the tile. Clearly distinguishable differences in texture and /or pattern with similar colors.

Slate Tiles
